Positive Vibes Only Connects with East Chicago Students for Youth Empowerment & Safety Discussion

Positive Vibes Only was proud to join For the Love of the Arts Inc. for a meaningful morning with 6th–8th grade students at East Chicago Lighthouse Charter School, focused on empowering young people to make positive, healthy choices both in and out of the classroom.

Throughout the visit, students participated in important conversations surrounding anti-bullying, vaping and drug-use prevention, summer safety, and mental health awareness. The goal was not only to educate students about the challenges they may face, but also to encourage open dialogue, positive decision-making, self-confidence, and looking out for one another.

Mental health was an especially important part of the conversation, reminding students that their emotional well-being matters and that seeking support and talking about what they are experiencing are signs of strength.

For Positive Vibes Only, opportunities like this represent an important part of our mission. Investing time in young people, providing encouragement, and creating spaces for honest conversations can have an impact that extends far beyond a single morning.

We are grateful to For the Love of the Arts Inc. and East Chicago Lighthouse Charter School for the opportunity to connect with these students and pour positivity back into the next generation.
