Warm Dishes and Holiday Wishes Returns to East Chicago This December
The holiday season is about coming together, giving back, and making sure everyone in our community feels the warmth and joy of the season. Positive Vibes Only is excited to once again partner with East Chicago Church for our annual Warm Dishes and Holiday Wishes event on Saturday, December 12, 2026.
Each year, Warm Dishes and Holiday Wishes brings together families, volunteers, community partners, and supporters for an afternoon dedicated to hot holiday meals, giveaways, community fellowship, and spreading a little extra love during the holiday season.
Last year's event was made possible by an incredible outpouring of community support. In addition to serving hot meals, we were able to distribute toys, hats, gloves, socks, and $700 in gift cards to members of the community. Partners and supporters donated their time, food, resources, and generosity to help make the day special.
This year, we're looking forward to continuing that tradition and making an even greater impact.

As we prepare for this year's event, Positive Vibes Only welcomes support from anyone who would like to get involved. Whether through donations, volunteering, contributing hats, gloves, socks or other needed items, or simply helping us spread the word, every contribution helps us bring warmth and holiday cheer to our neighbors.
Warm Dishes and Holiday Wishes has become a special tradition for Positive Vibes Only, and we're grateful to East Chicago Church and all of the volunteers, donors, businesses, and community partners who continue to make it possible year after year.
We can't wait to come together again on December 12 to share a meal, spread some joy, and celebrate what the holiday season is all about—kindness, generosity, love, and community.
